The importance of speed training

Untitled Design (7).jpg

Players and parents often want the same thing: TO be the strongest, fastest players on the field. I don’t blame them. Those players are often the ones who stand out the most on the field and they are easy to spot.

It is easy to recognize that attribute but what if you aren’t blessed with track like speed? Does that mean you can’t make it?

Not at all!

Players can develop their speed( Hint: it takes more than running to develop speed. It is a combination of strength, agility, coordination drills that will develop technique.)

I always incorporate SAQ( speed, agility, quickness) drills into our sessions because of the saying in soccer: slow feet get beat!

I would love to help your player develop their speed this summer. Please contact me here for more information!
